Geneseo Mobile Website

Geneseo's mobile-optimized website can be found at: . A link to the new mobile site is also available in the header of the homepage. The mobile site:

  • Offers a resource optimized for mobile devices (e.g., smaller screen sizes, different navigation, etc.) across multiple platforms (iPhones, Androids, etc).
  • Focuses on key resources for mobile device users, including campus maps, building hours and people directory.
  • Targets current students and visitors – our largest adopters of mobile devices – and will incorporate resources for additional audiences with future upgrades.
Geneseo Wireless Network

Connecting to the Geneseo wireless network saves on data usage and allows faster downloads. We recommend that you connect your device to our secure wireless network (Secure-WPA2). Not only is this the most secure way to be online, it also saves your credentials so you don't have to log in every time you access your device.

Email Access

We do not recommend using Webmail on your mobile device. Most smart phones have a built in mail client that will work with our servers. We recommend K-9 mail for the Android and Mail for iOS devices. Unfortunately, Blackberry's messaging system is not recommended for Geneseo email.

Google Calendar Sync

Google Apps for Education is available to all Geneseo students, faculty, and staff. There are multiple ways to access your Google calendar from a mobile device. Google's preferred method is Google Sync (based on Microsoft Exchange technologies).
