SUNY Geneseo offers wireless network access across campus for your computer and mobile devices.  The campus wireless network is based on IEEE 802.11 technology, also called "WiFi." This standard allows us to provide networking to computers over radio frequencies in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz and 5 .2 GHz ranges.
