During move‐in weekend (Friday‐ Sunday), the CIT HelpDesk will be open in South Hall 225 for one‐on‐one assistance with connecting your computer to our wired and wireless networks. You may also call our HelpDesk at 585-245-5588. |

| Wireless Network SetupThe SUNY Geneseo wireless network is based on IEEE 802.11 technology, also called "WiFi." This standard allows us to provide networking to computers over radio frequencies in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz ranges. Our wireless network is comprised of "access points" manufactured by Cisco. Be sure to select the SUNY Geneseo network with your computer or other wireless devices. Detailed information about Geneseo WiFi can be found at http://www.geneseo.edu/cit/wireless |

Additional Services for Students
All Geneseo students can download Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and other academic software for free. Login with your Geneseo username and password Software can also be run in our virtual lab without needing to install anything.
Students have access to printing in most academic buildings, Milne Library (at Sturges Hall), and MacVittie College Union.
myGeneseo is your campus connection to email, student balances, KnightwebKnightWeb, campus news and events, and more.
Sign up for NY-ALERT via KnightWeb to receive Geneseo related emergency notifications through email, phone, and text messaging.
