I think it's safe to say that I enjoyed just about everything in this class. I had a great time with the Alice books. Metaphors We Live By was very interesting, and I enjoyed taking the linguistic perspective of things. Some of the poetry was good, and it's not like I was stuck with the poetry I didn't like for too long anyway. The Importance of Being Earnest was a great read, and I'm glad I read it.The section on Narrative was interesting; possibly the section I got the most out of. Mrs. Dalloway and The Hours were both good, and I think it was a good way to end the course as it encompassed a lot of the earlier material. The movie, however, was awful. If it were better it could have been more useful, but I don't think it brought anything new to the table. I wish I had read the copyright reading because it seems like an interesting topic, I just didn't have the time. Hopefully I will run into the topic later or read it on my own. I liked the focus on computers and the internet in this course, though I'm not sure if I'm used to it yet. The technological aspect is different from most of the courses I've taken, and I think it's a great tool that generally makes things easier.
