We highly recommend using Chrome as your browser when using SpeedGrader. Some users have experienced errors when using alternate browsers.

As an instructor, SpeedGrader allows you to view and grade student assignment submissions in one place using a simple point scale or complex rubric. Canvas accepts a variety of document formats and even URLs as assignment submissions. Some document assignments can be marked up for feedback directly within the submission. You can also provide feedback to your students with text or media comments.

DocViewer Overview

Note: Canvas DocViewer typically processes documents within a minute or two, however, it can take up to thirty minutes from the time of submission in Canvas (processing displays while DocViewer is working) depending on volume within the DocViewer application. If a submission fails to process in two hours, please report the problem to canvas@geneseo.edu
