Below you can find a brief instructions how to login into Siteimprove and a brief overview of the Interface to correct Broken Links.


  1. Login for the first time using the Single Sign On link
  2. The right hand navigational menu categories you will focus on are Quality Assurance and Accessibility.     
  3. Click on Quality Assurance to see the Broken Link errors on your departments website categories .

  4. Select the Broken Link category to view all the links which affect your site.

  5. See the drop down arrow to view all pages with that broken link. Click on the link to expand issue in browser.

  6. Click Edit in the CMS icon to open issue in the CMS Drupal

  7. Try to locate the link by searching for the link title in the internal search features on the website. If the search is unsuccessful try to searching google for the link.  If search yields no results contact the appropriate staff member for assistance.

  8.  Once the link has been found highlight the link and select the insert link icon to change the URL.

  9. Once the link has been found highlight the link and select the insert link icon to change the URL.

  10.  Paste in the new URL to change the link and Save. Next refresh the page in the Siteimprove window.
