Scope

CIT is an Apple Authorized Service Provider, a Dell Service Partner, and an HP Authorized Service Provider. This allows CIT to provide free warranty service, performed in strict accordance with Apple, Dell, and HP's policies and procedures for college owned equipment. In addition, CIT performs non-warranty repairs on college owned equipment.

Procedure

College Owned Equipment
CIT will repair or arrange repair of broken college owned equipment during or after the warranty period. There are no labor charges associated with these types of repair. If equipment to be repaired is not under warranty, or the equipment's warranty has been voided by accidental damage, departments will be charged for the cost of parts.

Personally Owned Equipment
CIT is unable to repair personally owned equipment. CIT suggests you return any other type of equipment to the dealer from whom it was purchased. We are happy to recommend additional service providers upon request.
