 This document explains how to add cloud printers on your macOS computer.

Installing Geneseo Cloud Printers: step-by-step guide

  1. Download the Geneseo Cloud Printers package
    1. You'll need to enter your Geneseo username and password to complete the download
  2. Go to your Downloads folder, hold down your 'Control' key, and click on the 'GeneseoCloudPrinters.pkg' file (or right-click on it)
    1. Select 'Open' from the menu
    2. If you see a pop-up saying the package cannot be opened, click 'Open' anyway
      1. If you do not see the second 'Open' button, you didn't open the file with the 'Control' key or a right click
  3. Click 'Continue' to proceed
  4. Click 'Continue' on the Destination Select step
  5. Check the boxes for all of the cloud print queues that you want to install
  6. Click 'Install'
  7. Enter your personal Mac administrator account name and password
  8. Upon completion, click 'Close'

Geneseo Cloud Printers should now be installed and ready to print to!

Make sure to look for the printer label to make sure it supports the cloud queue that you printed to. Simply print to a cloud queue and tap your Geneseo ID on the reader on the printer to pick up the print outs. It's fast, reliable and more environmentally conscious. Give it a try!
