Before You Start
Using multiple accounts can be challenging because browsers remember your login and on Geneseo owned devices Azure Seamless SSO makes it so you are often logged into services automatically with your primary Geneseo account. There are 3 options for allowing you access multiple Geneseo accounts from your computer, these are account delegation, browser profiles, and private browsing windows.
Use this when you just need to access another Geneseo gmail or calendar account.
What is Account Delegation?
Account delegation is an excellent option to give access to an email or calendar account to multiple people, this makes it so you do not have share the password with anyone. It also can allow you to track who has responded to what message in the email account. Delegates can even have their own read and unread status for the account if you wish.
You should setup the delegation on the secondary account such that you add your primary account within the In the "Grant access to your account" section by following the Google guides below.
Once setup, your primary account will then see the delegated account show up when you click on your Google account icon in the upper right corner of your Gmail webpage.

This only works with other geneseo.edu accounts and can take up to 30 minutes to show up under your account.
Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge all support a feature called Browser Profiles. This allows you to configure separate profiles in your browser that are completely separate and access services as separate accounts. This can also be useful if you need to access other Geneseo services as a different account such as the Wiki. For more information on browser profiles and how to configure them, please reference your preferred browser documentation below:
If you run into an issue when attempting to turn sync on for a specific profile where it defaults to a different Geneseo account, please visit https://mysignins.microsoft.com/ and sign out of the default account. Once you are signed out of that account, please try turning on sync again for the intended Geneseo account.
Private Browsing Windows
This is the simplest method to temporarily login to a second account however it is also the most likely to have issues or not work especially on Geneseo owned computers. While this may work for quick access and work reliably for non-Geneseo owned computers, we do not recommend this method for most use cases.
iOS specific login information
When adding an account to iOS, you are prompted to sign in to your existing account automatically. You can sign into a second account by clicking the back arrow then selecting sign into another account.
