General Education Assessment in AY 2022-2023

• If we were to continue our old assessment rotation, on the old general education requirements, we would assess Natural Sciences, Other World Civilizations, American History, Oral Discourse
• AY 2022-23 marks the implementation year for A Geneseo Education for a Connected World, and the last year of the old SUNY GER
• The newly constituted GLOBE Committee will develop new learning outcomes for all general education areas of our new curriculum, ensure their consistency with the new SUNY GE requirements, and send them to Senate in Fall 2022
• In spring 2023, GLOBE will address assessment, piloting newly adopted rubrics and a process for course embedded assessment

The due date for 2020-2021 general education assessment results is June 30, 2021.
