2015 Motion 7. Reapportioning Professional Senators

Whereas, the Administrative structure of the College has changed since the implementation of the Constitution of the Faculty, and

Whereas, the current language in the Constitution does not allow for equal representation and eligibility of administrative Faculty members, be it

Resolved, Article IV Section 5 of the Faculty Constitution be amended as follows to appropriately apportion administrative faculty members.

Article IV: College Senate Membership

Section 5:

The administrative Faculty shall be represented in the College Senate by eight senators, two of whom shall be elected by and from the Academic Affairs administrative faculty (one elected each year), two one by and from the Administration and Finance administrative faculty (elected every other year one elected each year), two by and from the Student & Campus Life administrative faculty (one elected each year), one by and from the College Advancement administrative faculty (elected every other year), one by and from the Enrollment Management administrative faculty (elected every other year), and one elected at-Large by and from the entire administrative faculty (elected every other year).  Administrative Senators will be elected to two year terms.
