You can log a request for assistance by visiting our online Service Desk. Urgent issues should be telephoned to our department number (585) 245-5234 during business hours.
Emergency after hours support issues should be telephoned first to the IT Administrator. If no answer, leave a message for a return call. Calls are returned within 2 hours. If you feel the situation warrants, you may call another member of the IT staff. Please note, those staff members are hourly, and are subject to getting approval for providing after hours support from their supervisor before returning to work.

IT Services from SUNY Geneseo
Campus Auxiliary Services contracts with CIT to provide networking and other infrastructure services to operate our business. The information provided in the CAS wiki/website may reference public pages written by CIT staff. Those pages may direct you to seek help from the CIT Help Desk, however, CIT does not provide support for Campus Auxiliary Services employees. Assistance should be directed to CAS Information Technology staff.

Your Geneseo Username and Password
Your account at Geneseo gives you access to nearly all of our services including email, Google apps, software downloads, printing services, server, and more! User accounts remain active for as long as you are employed at Campus Auxiliary Services.
Geneseo Mobile App
The Geneseo Mobile App provides access to resources including notifications, online directory, events, news, campus map, and more. It can also help you find other Geneseo apps. Search for “Geneseo Mobile” on your device's app store.
File Server Space
Employees have access to shared departmental and project space on our central file servers. Contact IT Support if you need help using your file server space.

Google Apps for Education
The G Suite is available to Geneseo students, faculty, and staff.
Microsoft Office 365
Geneseo is part of the SUNY Partnership Microsoft Campus Agreement for Microsoft Office. As a Geneseo student, faculty or staff member, you can download and install a free copy of the MS Office suite. (This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and OneNote). You can install Office 365 on up to five computers (MacOS or Windows) AND up to five mobile devices (smartphones or tablets).
Geneseo has negotiated strategic license agreements with software vendors to make their products available to college-owned and personal computers.
Geneseo students, faculty and staff have FREE access to the entire lynda.com training library (over 7,500 courses, and more are added every week) through Geneseo's site license. Courses can be accessed 24/7 on any desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device (iOS and Android). Faculty can assign courses to their students to track learning progress.
